New Friends meet at Social Connections: In the spring of 2010 a group was created to help young adults meet and form friendships. Social Connections offered by Community Living Prince Edward consists of fun activities for young people to participate in such as Poker Night, Wii Game Night, and Cranium Challenge. New Sibling Group is making a difference for brothers and sisters. Community Living Prince Edward organized a six week series designed children 9-12 years of age who have a brother or sister with a disablity. During the various workshops participants learn about various diagnoses, similarities and differences they have, they learn a little about themselves and most of all that they are not alone. They see that their feelings are validated and that others feel the same way and through various activities learn how to express these feelings in a positive way. Read Lucy's Story...
