Accommodation Services

At CLPE, we’re committed to supporting people with intellectual disabilities—and their families—as they explore possibilities, pursue opportunities, and live the lives they choose.
We offer a range of accommodation supports, including up to 24-hour staffing, tailored to each person's unique needs and preferences. Working closely with people and their families, we co-create support plans that reflect personal goals, choices, and how each person wants to live and connect within their community.
You’re in charge. You decide how you want to receive support, what goals you want to pursue, and how you want to be part of your neighborhood and community. Whether you’re exploring traditional housing options or want to create something innovative, we’re here to help you imagine what’s possible.
A Home of My Own Model - As part of Accommodation Services – CLPE has created an innovative option for youth transitioning to independent living. Building on the knowledge, skills, and experiential learning experience from the Youth Services - Gear Up to a Home of my Own, young adults with an intellectual disability will have opportunities to gain practical experience that continues to support their journey to transition into their own apartment or shared living space.

Highlights of this model Include:
-
Skill Development Workshops: Participants continue to engage in modules that cover essential life skills, including budgeting, meal planning, self-advocacy, and community navigation.
-
Practical Experience: Gain opportunities to experience living in their own space, with support staff available to guide and assist in transferring skills learned during the workshops.
-
Person-Centered Support: CLPE emphasizes individualized planning to ensure that supports are tailored to each person's unique goals, interests, and needs, promoting independence and community inclusion.
